Proof: a bread-based pun

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, and all of my colleagues from dinner at Zaytinya a couple of weeks ago who thought it was unlikely, I present the following into evidence:

Now if that’s not gorgeous bread, I don’t know what is. Don’t tell anyone, but I made six of them. One of the best things about making bread is that it’s not much harder to make a little bit more, and doesn’t take much additional time. Just add more ingredients and stagger your oven shelving system – rotating the sheets throughout the process (should you be so inclined) to create an even baking and browning regime.

Am taking one of the big ones (not pictured) to the in-laws in about ten minutes. Why? Because they are the greatest.

Those are indeed gorgeous loaves. And since you made them, they’re bound to be really really tasty too. Just missing one thing: the holla for challa pun headline. Scratch that — you’re better for not having it. ;)

you are officially the challa queen.
when are we going to quit our jobs and open up the bakery?
