And here we are again – racking up another donation to the American Cancer Society. And why? Because you are awesome. I can’t believe this is still going on and generating a donation each month. And the total we’ve raised so far? A whopping $618.46. And it’s all because of you, you beautiful thing, you.
This month’s donation is in honor of E.N.’s grandmother who just lost a long battle with cancer, that asshole. I’m sorry for her family’s loss.
Summer has been dragging on in a most unpleasant way. I can’t remember enjoying one less, actually. You walk outside, and instantly need a shower. When you finally regain a climate-controlled domain, you don’t so much dry as cure. Feh. It’s just been feh out. Yesterday’s rain took a big load off of my weather-induced crazy. But seriously, for the last few weeks the weather computers have told us daily that it’s going to rain. That 4pm thunderstorm we’ve counted on for the last 20 summers? A lie. A VICIOUS LIE, to keep us all docile while Congress destroys us all. Where’s my tinfoil hat?
